  • Oradea Employees Raise Funds to Support Local Orphanage

    The Oradea Operations team recently held a bake sale to benefit a local orphanage. During the bake sale, the site raised 3000 Romanian Leu (approximately $770 USD). The money was donated to Orphanage no. 2 located in Oradea to pay an outstanding electric bill where 51 children reside.

     
    Employees also had the opportunity to vote for their favorite baked good. The following employees were named winners:
    ·        1st place – Claudia Pop, Operator on ASD project, shift C
    ·        2nd place – Boglarka Kertmegi, PC&L Leader
    ·        3rd place – Erzsebet Nagy, Operator on ASD project, shift B

  • Local Children Receive Christmas Gifts from Team Lozorno

    ​The Lozorno Operations team organized a charitable activity to benefit their local community. The team sponsored children from a local Children’s Home in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. The children provided a list of wishes and Lozorno team members bought gifts or sent money to the home to help fulfill the wishes. The children found their wishes fulfilled when the presents appeared under the Christmas tree. 

    Thank you to all of the employees who participated in the event; the team is already looking forward to the next opportunity to give back. Special thanks to Rastislav Kacir, Continuous Improvement Project Manager, and Monika Hyžová, Customer/Supplier PPAP Quality Engineer, for organizing the activity.
  • ​Several Sites Team Up to Help Rebuild “Forgotten Communities” in Central Mexico

    Inteva supports more than 150 charitable organizations worldwide, but what about those individuals and families in our communities who are not reached by charitable groups?
     
    That’s the question our Puebla team members asked themselves following the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that affected five states in Mexico in September. While organizations such as the American Red Cross and UNICEF immediately began supporting the rebuilding of homes and businesses in large cities, there were few organized activities helping the smaller communities. So our team made that their mission – one that quickly grew.
     
  • Inteva Salonta Team Supports Local High School STEM Program

    The Inteva team in Salonta, Romania recently held a fundraiser for a local high school, Teodor Nes, with the goal of purchasing a 3D printer for student use. Inteva shows its interest and support for the future of automotive talent in many ways and this fundraising effort will help develop the local students in the fundamentals of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
