Shanghai, China, November 20, 2024 – Engineering and manufacturing excellence was on display in China on November 20, 2024 as Inteva celebrated the 25 year anniversary of Shanghai Inteva Automotive Door Systems Co. Ltd. (Inteva SDADS), a joint venture of Inteva Products and Shanghai SIIC Transportation Electric Company, Ltd.
The event welcomed various Inteva and SDADS leaders, several customers and suppliers, various government officials, and dedicated SDADS employees.
“What started as a small Joint Venture to support local Shanghai OEM production, SDADS has now grown to be one of the largest latch manufacturers in China,” said Gerard Roose, Inteva President and CEO and Chairman of SDADS.
“In the future, we will continue to uphold the concept of innovation, cooperation, and win-win, to meet the ever-changing needs of the automotive industry,” said Grace Miao, SDADS Managing Director.
Pan Hong, SDADS General Manager, added to this saying, “Over the past 25 years, we have never forgotten our original intention. We have forged ahead and written a new chapter together. 25 years is enough to make a sapling grow into a towering tree, and we will continue to increase investment in development, new products, strive to develop new markets, achieve steady development, and assume corporate social responsibility.”
The event also showed gratitude to the SDADS employees for their continued dedication.

In the exciting product introduction ceremony, two products caught the eyes of the audience – a new generation of E-Loc electronic side and a slide door lock. A special long-term service reward was also awarded to the employees for their dedication and commitment to Inteva.
