Powering Responsibility: Matamoros Sites Leads the Charge in Ponte Pilas Program and Safe Battery Disposal

Inteva Mexico sites in Matamoros participated in the second edition of "Ponte Pilas," a program dedicated to the responsible collection and disposal of lithium batteries. This initiative encourages Mexico residents to properly dispose of their lithium batteries, ensuring they are handled outside the city to prevent potential contamination of our soil, air, and water, thereby safeguarding the health of our community.

Inteva first took part in this program two years ago, this year, the team successfully collected 123.5 pounds (56 kilograms) of batteries.

These activities demonstrate the strong commitment that Inteva and its employees have toward environmental stewardship. By actively participating in initiatives like "Ponte Pilas," we reaffirm our dedication to sustainable practices and the long-term well-being of our community and planet. This ongoing engagement underscores our corporate responsibility to reduce environmental impact and contribute to a cleaner, healthier future for all.
