इंटेवा प्रोडक्टस के भारत स्थित कर्मचारी अपने समय और उर्जा को माक्काला धाम में रहने वाले बच्चों की सहायता करने में लगा रहे हैं,बच्चों के उस निवास-स्थान का संचालन स्पर्श ट्रस्ट की पहलकदमी से किया जाता है। यह गैर मुनाफाकारी संगठन है जो भारत के बंगलोरऔर आसपास के गांवों में रहने वाले बच्चों और युवाओं की सहायता करता है ।
माक्काला धाम में पचास बच्चे रहते हैं जो पहले बाल मजदूर, अनाथ, अवारा या पढाई छोड चुके थे। यह बंगलुरु के बाहरी इलाके में कुडुरेगेरेमें स्थित है ।

इटेवा प्रोडक्टस के भारत में कंट्री मानव संसाधन प्रबंधक लवी साल्डनाह ने कहा कि ‘‘इंटेवा में हम विश्वास करते हैं कि समाज को वापसलौटाना हमारे अस्त्त्वि का हिस्सा है।’’ ‘‘इस महत्वपूर्ण स्वयंसेवी प्रयास के माध्यम से इंटेवा के कर्मचारी मक्काला धाम में मरम्मत कीआवश्यकता को पूरा कर रहे हैं और अपने पूरे जोश तथा प्रतिबध्दता के साथ बच्चों के युवा जीवन में बदलाव लाने में लगे हुए हैं।’’ इंटेवा टीमबच्चों को उनकी पढाई और विकास में सहायता करती है । इसके अतिरिक्त यह टीम उस आवास में विभिन्न प्रकार के छोटे मोटे मरम्मतऔर निर्माण कार्य कर रही है । मक्काला धाम के निवासी पचास बच्चों में से 25 बच्चे अब नियमित रूप से विद्यालय जाते हैं और बाकीनियमित विद्यालयों में दाखिल होने की तैयारी घरेलू शिक्षक की सहायता से कर रहे हैं । सभी बच्चों को योग,ध्यान,नृत्य और संगीत कीशिक्षा दी जाती है ।
स्पर्श ट्रस्ट बोर्ड के सदस्य और प्रबंध न्यासी आर गोपीनाथ जो इंटेवा टीम के साथ मिलकर काम करते हैं, ने कहा कि ‘‘इंटेवा के स्वयंसेवकमक्काला धाम के बच्चों के साथ अपना कीमती समय गुजारते हैं और उससे हमें इस प्रयास को आगे संचालित करने की ताकत मिलती है ।’’स्पर्श ट्रस्ट एक गैर-मुनाफाखोर संगठन है जो शिक्षा, रोजगार,स्वास्थ्य और स्व-नियोजन के क्षेत्र में विशेषकर ग्रामीण परिवेश के लिहाज सेकाम करती है ।

Inteva Products employees in India volunteered their time and energy to support children in need residing at the Makkala Dhama, a home for children operated as an initiative of the Sparsha Trust, a non-profit organization that helps children and youth in communities and villages in and around Bangalore, India. Makkala Dhama is a home for 50 children who were child laborers, orphans, street children or drop-outs. It is located at Kuduregere in the outskirts of Bengaluru.

Bill Hanna Presents Troy's Donation of $1,176.07 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association During Lock Up Fundraising Event
To support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Bill Hanna, Vice President and Executive Director, Closure Systems, agreed to be “arrested” for having a big heart in the MDA’s annual “Lock up” fundraising event. This unique community-wide event raises funds for people with neuromuscular diseases. In the spirit of fun and teamwork, money is raised to be “bail money” to free the locked-up executive.
PHUN, the volunteer team at Troy HQ focused on supporting charitable organizations, dedicated all PHUN cookouts in August to support MDA and its Lock Up event. PHUN ( People Helping the Underprivileged and Needy) used the proceeds from the cookouts along with other employee donations to create the “bail money” needed to free Bill at the September 14 Muscular Dystrophy Association Lock Up event.
