On June 28th Vandalia employees presented a $1,600 donation check to Make-A-Wish Foundation. This Inteva employee donation will allow five-year-old Gabrielle a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit Walt Disney World – her wish. As Gabrielle suffers from a life-threatening neurological disorder it is difficult for her to travel. By accepting this donation she will have the opportunity to escape from her difficult medical routine and spend quality time with her parents and brother in Florida. Each Friday Vandalia team members participate in their weekly Giving Day by donating $1 dollar to wear jeans. Each month a different charity is selected. A few times each year, though, a larger donation is made to Make-A-Wish Foundation. In order to collect more funds for Gabrielle, Vandalia hosted a pancake breakfast. Not only does this grant Gabrielle’s wish, it allowed team members to support a worthy charity during work time.
