  • 59 Inteva Team Members Donate Blood in Gifhorn, Germany

    Our Gifhorn, Germany location hosted a blood donation drive together with the Red Cross on October 13, 2014. This year, 59 Inteva donors participated in the blood donation drive. Of those, 15 team members were first-time blood donors. Participating in the blood drive took less than 30 minutes of time for each donor.

    The blood donation drive is a community involvement activity that Inteva Gifhorn participates in once a year. The team has already scheduled its donation drive for next year which will take place on October 29, 2015.

    “We are proud to be able to offer this activity once a year,” said Nicole Wolf, Gifhorn Plant Manager. “It is one way to show that Inteva cares."

    Our Bangalore, India Corporate Social Responsibility team planted trees at the Ramakrishna Mission, Shivanahalli on June 28, 2014. The tree plantation effort is a part of the Kaanana program to help Bangalore sustain rapid growth and provide shelter to wildlife. The Inteva team toiled under the hot sun, contributing their time and energy for a noble cause.

  • Troy-based Interior Systems Team Helps Build Local House with Habitat for Humanity

    Interior Systems Product Line team members in Troy, Michigan volunteered their time on June 27, 2014 to support Habitat for Humanity, an international, non-governmental and non-profit organization devoted to building simple, decent, and affordable 
    housing. The team spent the day helping with the construction of a new house in Dearborn, Michigan.

    Specifically, the team helped put up the scaffolding around the house; lift and install the roof trusses; install roof hurricane brackets; and measure, cut and install wood bracing for interior cabinets.
