Dayton Business Journal Recognizes 13 Organizations
TROY, Mich., Aug. 25, 2016 – Inteva Products, LLC, a leading global Tier One automotive supplier of engineered components and systems, is pleased to announce that for the second year in a row the Vandalia Technical Center has been selected as one of the 2016 Healthiest Employers of Dayton, Ohio. This year, the Dayton Business Journal recognized only 13 of the most health-conscious organizations for offering employees an outstanding health and wellness program.
A healthy lifestyle can improve a person's general qualify of life as well as personal satisfaction and boost productivity in the workplace. Inteva's wellness program, Wellness 4 Life, aims to educate employees on the benefits of living healthy, helping them enhance employee well-being, and creating a healthy worksite culture. This year, Inteva's Vandalia office was recognized for the activities offered to employees, such as the new walking challenge, called the "Hit Your Stride Challenge." The challenge provides employees the chance for some friendly competition to get as many steps in as possible.
All nominees were measured using six core features of workplace wellness including cultural and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analysis.
The Dayton Business Journal's sixth annual Healthiest Employers Awards recognize companies that make wellness a reality for their employees and bottom lines. The healthiest employers were honored at an awards breakfast and will be featured in a special supplement of the August 26th edition of the Dayton Business Journal.
