Artistic Gowns made with Inteva’s Inteather™ material will be featured in Pop Up Fashion Shows
TROY, Mich., January 6, 2015 – Inteva Products,LLC, a leading global Tier One automotive supplier of engineered components and systems, will be entertaining the NAIAS Charity Preview audience with pop-up fashion shows throughout the gala event at Cobo Hall on Friday, Jan. 15. Attendees at Detroit’s annual fundraising event, will be able to gaze on four unique, artistic fashion designs made from Inteva’s Inteather™ material – the same material used in the interiors of many of the vehicles on display.
Inteva’s Inteather™ material is a unique high-performance thermoplastic olefin material (TPO). Today, Inteva’s Inteather is the choice of many automakers for its leather-like feel, luxurious appearance, craftsmanship, formability and long-term durability. Inteather does not fade or degrade under solar UV radiation, offers superior cold performance, is scratch-and-mar resistant, and is 100% recyclable.
Given Inteather’s formability, it is the perfect material for unique fashion designs. Four amazing new gowns were designed specifically for the evening by Royal Oak-based artist and fashion designer Janna Coumoundouros. Coumoundouros’ technique of including sculptural design and edgy “Detroit-inspired” elements will be featured and the gowns will be worn and displayed by a selection of local models.
The NAIAS Charity Preview event will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., and the pop-up fashion shows will happen on the show floor between 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
