Zhenjiang's commitment to quality and providing satifactory products to the customer has resulted in this high honor. Zhenjiang supplies side door latches to Haima. Haima Automobile Co., Ltd is an automobile manufacturing company based in Hainan, China and a subsidiary of FAW Group. It was founded in 1992 as Hainan Mazda Motor.

December 2013The Inteva team in Zhenjiang, China was awarded the 2013 JAC Quality Contribution Award, a high recognition of the team's extraordinary effort to meet customer needs. Inteva Honored for Extraordinary Support to America’s National Guard and Reserve Force
June 2013On June 1, the U.S. Department of Defense honored Inteva Products with the prestigious Above and Beyond Award. The Above and Beyond Award recognizes American employers for providing extraordinary support and cooperation to their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve Force.The ESGR Above and Beyond Award is given in limited numbers to employers who have had at least one of their supervisors or managers recognized with a Patriot Award. The Patriot Award recognizes individual supervisors or bosses nominated by an employee serving in the Guard and Reserve for support provided directly to the nominating Service Member. In this case, Bob nominated his manager, Brian Spuck, Engineering Manager for Interior Systems, to receive the Patriot Award. Brian, with the support of Inteva, has helped Bob fulfill his commitment to the Naval Reserve by being flexible with his two-week assignments and monthly requirements.This award is presented by the Employer Support of the Guard (ESRG), a Department of Defense operational committee. -

SDADS Receives 2012 Research and Development Award from Chery Automotive

This recognition was received for superior latch technology on several programs. Chery recognized the excellent latch performance and technical service of Inteva. This included a new tailgate latch supplied for several programs.

Inteva Honored with Green Supplier Recognition from Shanghai General Motors
February 2013Inteva Waigaoqiao Operations was recently recognized for their successful achievement of Shanghai General Motors Green Supplier Program. This recognition supports Inteva’s core value of we care for the world and our communities and the facility initiative allows for a significant decrease in total power consumption and carbon emissions from 2011 to 2012.
Founded in 1997, Shanghai General Motors (SGM) is a joint venture between General Motors Company and SAIC Motor that manufactures and sells Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and Opel brand automobiles in mainland China. SGM began awarding suppliers with this yearly environmental recognition in 2008.
This program completion began with an initial invitation from SGM to participate. Nine additional steps proceeded including supplier evaluations, training, final supplier reports and award recognitions.
“Shanghai General Motors carries out this program every year, and we will try our best to continue to find energy savings at our facility” said Frank. “Electrical power is limited, savings are limitless. Many companies must be shut down or change their production plant because of the limit of power during the summer. Some companies will get more electrical power on the basis of electrical power savings.”
The facility decreased their total power consumption by 8%, a number that will allow them more electrical power in the summer months. They also reduced their carbon emissions 74 tons from 2011 to 2012. -
SDADS Named 2012 Excellent Supplier of Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC)
January 2013Inteva SDADS was awarded Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC) prestigious honor of 2012 Excellent Supplier. More than 600 suppliers were invited to BAIC’s 2012 Supplier Conference held in Beijing, China. Only the top ten prestigious suppliers were recognized and honored throughout the event. The leadership team of Inteva SDADS accepted the honor.
This qualitative award recognized the outstanding work and quality performance of Inteva as a key BAIC supplier.

General Motors Honors Inteva with Highest Award for On-Time Shipping
January 2013General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales division (GMCCA) has awarded several Inteva operations with On-Time Shipping Awards for 2012. Inteva Operations in: Adrian, Michigan; Kyungsan, Kyongbuk, Korea (Inteva KDS); and North Kansas City, Missouri were each honored with a Certificate of Excellence at the highest level, Platinum Supplier Status, in recognition of outstanding on-time shipping performance to General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales. Inteva Matamoros Plant 1 in Mexico was honored with a Certificate of Excellence for Silver Supplier Status for their shipping performance. Three other Inteva direct ship locations were also honored at the platinum level.
“Your organization has played an important role in our efforts to design, build and sell the world’s best vehicles,” wrote David Poole, General Motors, Director of Supply Chain and David Drouillard, Executive Director, Global Purchasing in a letter informing Inteva of this high honor. “Your dedication and commitment to consistently perform above expectations are very much appreciated by the entire General Motors team. You have our most sincere congratulations."
GMCCA has very high expectations from their suppliers to meet their schedule requirements, according to Paul Pickels, Production, Control & Logistics Manager in Adrian. This requires significant attention to detail and a great deal of advance planning and coordination to insure high quality parts are available to ship in the correct quantity on the dates required by GMCCA.
Inteva Adrian is responsible for several hundred service part numbers to GMCCA.
“Last year, Adrian shipped over 35,000 pieces to GMCCA with 100% schedule attainment. This is no small achievement since most of this volume is past model product that requires special scheduling of material and special handling of the production builds,” said Paul. “GMCCA has very detailed packaging and shipping expectations for their material that requires significant attention to detail.” -

Inteva Recognized as a Top 50 Social Media Brand in Michigan
December 2012In the December issue of Detroit Business magazine, Inteva was ranked as a top 50 company in the Michigan Social Media Brand Index. This first-time index was compiled by Market Strategies International, a market research firm out of Livonia, Michigan and measures companies for overall popularity of their social media brand. The pool of candidates included the 200 largest public and private Michigan companies, with General Motors, Chrysler and Ford taking top recognitions.

Inteva Wins Grand Prize and Body Interior Honor at SPE’s 2012 Auto Innovation Awards Gala
November 2012Inteva's superior craftsmanship and quality won the prestigious Grand Prize at the 2012 SPE Auto Innovations Awards Gala on November 7, 2012. Inteva was eligible for the Grand Prize having won the Body Interiors category, one of 12 category winners considered for SPE's highest annual award. These awards were presented to our customer General Motors recognizing Inteva’s innovative all-olefin, soft-skin, stitched, full instrument panel system for the 2013 GM Lambda Crossover Vehicles. It is a great industry honor and privilege to be deemed Grand Prize winner in a competition known as the Oscars of the plastics and composites industry. “The Grand Award represents the best combination of innovation in design execution, processing and materials, as judged by our SPE Blue Ribbon Judging Panel,” said Jeffrey H.
